Now when I turn on the high beams, I believe nothing changes with the projector bulb, contrary to what bboshart said in post #3: I do not think there is a solenoid that drops a shield out of the way like Bi-Xenon projectors or that the projector rises - can anyone confirm this? However, I confirm that the reflector (inner light) turns on, so thankfully it is not just for 'show' on the Highline and Execline (R-Line trim) in Canada. I recall reading that the lower two trims Trendline and Comfortline, only have the outer 'hockey stick' that lights up - I've seen a few driving around town like this which confirms this is true and that there is indeed a lower spec model headlight.
